Creature
It flies above the skies at night
Slowly and surely waiting to strike
It has been circling me for weeks
Waiting for a tasty treat
With foot long talons upon its feet
And on its wings
And for its teeth
I ask for help to everyone I meet
But they do not believe me
Especially the police
And when it strikes I hope it’s quick
I don’t want to feel the pain of it.
I really want to run and hide
But wherever I go it goes along for the ride
When I go asleep at night I’m sure to cry
The same will happen when I die
I wonder if it would be better if I took my own life
Or be whittled away by this creature of the night.
I really want to run and hide
But wherever I go it goes along for the ride
When I go asleep at night I’m sure to cry
The same will happen when I die
I wonder if it would be better if I took my own life
Or be whittled away by this creature of the night.
